On Feb. 24, St. Mary’s County Deputy J. Vezzosi responded to Chopticon High School for a report of a controlled dangerous substance violation.
School staff found Scott Dillon Fritts, 18 of Mechanicsville, to be in possession of suspected marijuana while at school and contacted the Sheriff’s Office. Deputy Vezzosi placed Fritts under arrest and charged him with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, suspected marijuana.
