NEWBURG, Md. Pop Pop’s Greenhouse is lighting up the season once again with its annual Christmas on the Farm, a family-friendly holiday tradition that blends festive fun, small-town charm, a giant lighted slide, and a chance for neighbors to come together.

Held at 13340 Rock Point Road, the event has taken place for several years and has become a holiday tradition for many in the community. This year’s schedule includes Dec. 18 through 21, Dec. 23, and Dec. 26 through 27, with hours from 5 to 9 p.m. The event is closed on Christmas Day. Admission is $12 per person, and children ages 3 and under are free.

Visitors can walk a quarter-mile lighted trail, watch holiday movies on the big screen, and warm up by bonfires throughout the evening. Local food vendors will be on-site, and younger guests can participate in crafts and letters to Santa.

A favorite among returning guests is the lighted super slide, which has become one of the most popular attractions year after year.

Santa Claus will make appearances every Saturday from 6 to 7:30 p.m., while The Grinch is scheduled to appear nightly, adding a fun and mischievous element to the experience.

While Christmas on the Farm brings holiday cheer to the region, Pop Pop’s Greenhouse continues to give back behind the scenes. Earlier this fall, the family transformed their Produce Stand into a 24/7 community food exchange, inviting anyone to drop off or pick up donations—no questions asked. The initiative reflects the same values that make Christmas on the Farm such a beloved tradition: generosity, connection, and a deep-rooted commitment to community.

Organizers encourage families to dress for the weather and bring cameras to capture the memories. For updates, weather advisories, and special announcements, follow Pop-Pops Greenshouse on Facebook.
