Driving While Suspended and Theft
On March 30, 2011 Deputy Vezzosi stopped a Ford van in the area of
Golden Beach Road and Three Notch Roadin Mechanicsville, Maryland. The registration plates displayed on the van were expired. The driver initially provided Deputy Vezzosi with factious name but further investigation identified the driver as Kip Joseph Ramos, 34 of Colonial Beach, Virginia. Ramos’s privilege to operate a motor vehicle was suspended in Maryland and Virginia. Further investigation revealed the sticker indicating the year of the registration which was affixed to the registration plate was stolen from Virginia. Ramos was arrested and charged with driving while suspended and theft less then $100.00.
