On Tuesday, May 2, the Charles County Commissioners recognized May as Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month in Charles County. Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders are the fastest-growing racial group in the United States, growing over four times as rapidly as the overall population. They are one of the most culturally and linguistically diverse groups in America.
