
LINTHICUM, Md. — Corporal Hines of the Anne Arundel County Sheriff’s Office was honored as a distinguished guest representative during a Black History Month celebration at Friendship Adventist School on February 27, 2026.
The recognition highlighted Corporal Hines’ hard work, dedication, and ongoing commitment to community engagement, mentorship, and building positive relationships with local schools and families.
The school’s Black History Month program featured a series of powerful performances and meaningful reflections, celebrating culture, history, and achievement. Students, faculty, and guests gathered to honor leaders who continue to make a difference both locally and nationally.

Sheriff Everett Sesker expressed pride in Corporal Hines’ service, noting that her commitment to mentorship and outreach reflects the values of the agency.
“Her dedication to service and strengthening community partnerships represents the heart of what we strive to be as an organization,” Sheriff Sesker said.
