“With this interactive economic development website, we created a virtual library of resources and links for two distinct audiences,” said Calvert County Department of Economic Development Director Linda Vassallo. “For our local businesses, we offer a host of information on county business services, assistance through local, state and federal agencies, and tools for those looking to expand. For prospective businesses, we have tailored content to meet their needs, including available property listings, demographics, relocation incentives and more.”
At Ecalvert.com, current county businesses will find comprehensive business resource guides, information on how to become a government vendor, licensing guidelines, expansion incentives, resources for nonprofits and more. The site offers free online services such as employment listings and a searchable database of all county businesses.
Ecalvert.com also features a robust business attraction component designed to reach decision makers exploring business expansion and relocation. The site’s Relocation Guide includes Calvert Prospector, an interactive property listing and mapping tool that allows users to search for available commercial buildings and sites as well as generate site-specific demographic and business analysis reports. A new mapping tool for Patuxent Business Park also debuts along with the website. It provides an overview of the park, its amenities and detailed data on each lot at the site.
