Cove Point Pool Concession Stand Break-In Under Investigation

LUSBY, Md. – On the night of Friday, August 4, 2023, the Cove Point Pool concession stand in Lusby was broken into. The concession stand was trashed, with boxes thrown on the floor and shelves containing bags of chips and other food tipped over.

According to a post by Calvert County Parks and Recreation on Facebook, this break-in caused the concession stand to shut down temporarily due to the condition that the stand was left in and the ongoing investigation.

  1. Interesting . a similar break in occurred in August 2009 between the 11th and 12 .
    (BTW I just looked up that BAYNET article from 2009 ) The 4 perpetrators were caught in 2009 in the act on security cameras and did $8500 in damages..
    I hope those cameras were working this time ..
    This vandalism is such a childish act .
    I hope they are caught and goes on record so it can follow them for the rest of their lives ..

    1. People make mistakes that don’t make them a bad person an some learn from there mistakes there not murders so back off
