FAULKNER, md., โ A vehicle left the roadway Friday morning on Crain Highway, resulting in the transport of a child to Children’s National Medical Center. Emergency responders arrived at the scene around 11:55 a.m. on September 6, 2025.
The single-vehicle incident occurred near the 10000 block of Crain Highway in the Faulkner area. According to dispatch, the vehicle went into a wooded area off the roadway. Subsequently, Charles County emergency units responded to assist the occupants.
Emergency Medical Services found an adult and child at the scene. Additionally, the child complained of stomach pain following the incident. Paramedics evaluated both occupants before determining transport needs.
The vehicle departure from the roadway prompted a coordinated response from emergency personnel and multiple emergency units responded. Furthermore, emergency crews worked systematically to assess the situation and provide appropriate medical care.
Paramedics transported the child to Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C., as a precautionary measure. Meanwhile, the adult occupant remained at the scene for evaluation. Emergency crews classified the incident as requiring Basic Life Support level care.
