Lots of Rock and Roll all Weekend at

On Saturday, Aug. 30 and Sunday, Aug. 31, Power Jam Music Alliance and St. Mary’s County dwill hold the sixth annual Park Rock Fest at Chancellors Run Regional Park in Great Mills.Park Rock Fest 2008 will jam during the two-day rock festival with six music stages, 12 or more bands on each stage for over 140 bands during the weekend. court will be set up to satisfy everyone’s pallet and quench their thirst. The marketplace will have tons of Park Rock merchandise and music memorabilia. The comm-unity center will be home to civic,education-al, welfare and social organizations sharing information about their organizations.
The gates for Park Rock Fest open at 9 AM and close at 11 PM on both days. In addition to the bands booked will be some hot back-up bands that are ready to play at a moments notice to ensure both days have the most rock music ever! As in the past five years, Park Rock Fest 2008 is a drug, alcohol and obscenity free event.
