Upon arrival, crews encountered heavy smoke and quickly upgraded the call to a structure fire due to the proximity of other boats and dock infrastructure. By 3 p.m., firefighters had knocked down the bulk of the flames, though crews remain on site monitoring for hot spots and potential flare-ups.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation. This is a developing story.
