Crews battle workshop fire in Valley Lee

Update –

At approximately 3:30 p.m. the fire was reported to be under control after unstable conditions inside the structure forced firefighters to evacuate and battle the fire from the exterior. No injuries have been reported at this time. An investigation by the Office of the State Fire Marshal is pending.  

Reports say crews on scene have been evacuated from the inside of the workshop due to a unsafe conditions caused by a partial structure collapse and holes in the floor. Crews continue to battle the fire from the outside. 

VALLEY LEE, Md. – On Aug. 3, 2:38 p.m., crews responded to the 44000 block of Hawk Nest Farm Lane, Valley Lee for the report of a structure fire.

Reports indicate that a one-story workshop located on a farm is fire. Use caution in the area.
