LA PLATA, Md. – The La Plata Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating critical missing person Melissa Smith (15yof).
Melissa was last seen leaving her residence in La Plata on 03/21/26. She is 5’01”, approximately 140lbs., with braided hair. She was wearing a black jacket, black backpack, light blue jeans, and black shoes.
