INDIAN HEAD, Md. – Henry E. Lackey High School recently helped celebrate the grand opening of the Indian Head location of Dash In convenience stores. The Wills Group, owners of the store, presented a $1,000 check to Lackey.
“We appreciate the community spirit and Dash In recognizing our role in the community. This side of Charles County is like a small town, so we appreciate their support of our school,” Lackey Principal Cheryl Davis said. Students from Lackey’s spring sports teams and cheer team attended the grand opening event along with Davis and other staff from the school. “Thank you to Lackey and everything they do in the community,” Julian “Blackie” Wills III, president and CEO of the Wills Group, said.
The Indian Head Dash In was recently remodeled with a more modern look. The location started as a Bar Mills Texaco in the 60s, rebuilt as a Dash In in the late 80s and now recently renovated with updated features for the community.

Also attending the event were representatives from the Wills Group, members of the Potomac Heights Volunteer Fire Department Rescue Squad, the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs mascot Pinch and Ron Lord from the stadium.

I once ate 15 tornados from Dash-In within 30 minutes.
