Dennis Walter Wiehe, born on November 12, 1968, in Buffalo, New York, passed away on April 13, 2025, in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Dennis grew up in Lexington Park, Maryland, and later moved to South Carolina where he currently resided in Longs, SC.

Dennis is survived by his fiancé, Sarah George; his mother, Linda Caldwell; his sister, Jennifer Dowell, husband Brad Dowell and son Cameron Dowell; his daughters; Sarah Baldwin, husband Mathew Baldwin and son Jacob Baldwin; Ericka Hill, husband George Hill; and Amanda Wiehe and children, Alexis Pease, Samuel Pease and Ryker Blado. Dennis is also survived by lifelong friends Larry Anderson, and Jerry Burroughs; and preceded in death by Michael Lee.

Dennis was truly the life of the party, always radiating joy and light to everyone around him. He had a remarkable gift for making people smile and an even greater passion for living life to the fullest. Dennis deeply cherished the time he spent with his fiancé, Sarah George. Together, they shared a love of travel and adventure, embracing every opportunity to create unforgettable memories side by side.

A true jack of all trades, Dennis was always up for a challenge—whether it was launching his own food truck business or striking up a conversation with a stranger. He enjoyed meeting new people, spending time with friends and family, and never hesitated to lend a helping hand to a friend in need. His weekends were often filled with laughter and music, as he danced and sang around the house—broom in hand—while enthusiastically rearranging the furniture at 6 a.m. His energy and spontaneity brought happiness and warmth to all who knew him.

Dennis also had a love for casinos, and riding his Harley and the excitement they brought, but some of his greatest joy came from simpler pleasures, like the bond he shared with his beloved dog, Dixie, who recently preceded him in death. He also adored spending time with Serenity “Renni”, daughter of Emily Moore, whom he considered his granddaughter. Their playful adventures and heartwarming moments held a special place in his heart. Dennis also enjoyed the leisure of boating, fishing, and crabbing.

Dennis lived with intention, passion, and love. He leaves behind a legacy of laughter, and cherished memories that will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Dennis will be deeply missed but will forever remain in our hearts. May he rest in peace.
