WALDORF, Md. – On October 25 at approximately 7:30 p.m., officers responded to the 2500 block of Old Washington Road in Waldorf for the reported shooting.
Upon arrival, officers located the victim, who had been shot, deceased. Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division responded and are investigating.
The victim was identified as Michael Anthony Dodson, Sr., 60, of Waldorf. This incident does not appear to be random and detectives are pursuing leads.

A man d we all wonder why alot of us who use to live in Waldorf for decades are moving away. I lived in Waldorf from 1979 until September 2022. The entire town mine as well be part of Princes George’s County. Seriously, people from up there came down to Waldorf to escape the crime. But, they didn’t realize that their little son LeRoy along with his other Thug friends were the ones doing the crimes. So the parent or most likely a single Mother with 4 or 5 kids with all different fathers came with you and brought their thug life with them. It’s a shame how someplace that was peaceful and a great place to raise your kids has all gone down the sewer.

Is not doing enough to keep it that way it was. His offercers are real crooked as they come and he backs them 100%.
