
St. Mary’s City, MD— Historic St. Mary’s City will host Indian Discovery Day on September 12, 2015.
Explore, celebrate, and rediscover Indian lifeways and culture as you watch experts in primitive technologies such as hide tanning, flint knapping, and native pottery. Dance alongside Native American dancers (scheduled for 1:00 p.m.) all the while gaining a new appreciation for the people that called this land home before Maryland was founded.
Ongoing events and activities will be from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00p.m.Admission is $10 for adults, $9 seniors, $6 students, and free for those 5 years and under and Friends members.
