The project increases the Cove Point Liquefied Natural Gas Terminalโs daily output capacity from 1 billion cubic feet per day to 1.8 Bcf per day. Storage capacity at the terminal has increased to about 14.5 Bcf. One Bcf of natural gas is enough energy for about 3.4 million homes each day. Dominion Cove Point formerly had 7.8 Bcf of LNG tank storage.
- 67 miles of 24-inch PL-1 Ext. 2 pipeline in Juniata, Mifflin, Huntington, Centre and Clinton counties, Pa., which was placed in service in mid-November.
- 12 miles of 24-inch TL-453 Ext. 1 pipeline and nearly 10 miles of 20-inch TL-536 pipeline in Potter County, Pa., which were placed in service in early December.
- nearly 11 miles of 24-inch TL-492 Extension 3 pipeline in West Virginia, which was placed in servicein mid-January.
- addition of 2,800 horsepower at Mockingbird Hill Station in Wetzel County, W.Va., which wasplaced in service in mid-November, and
