Driver Airlifted After Early Morning Rollover Crash On Point Lookout Road

CALLAWAY, Md. – On November 4, 2024, at approximately 6:30 a.m., fire and rescue personnel responded to a serious motor vehicle accident in the 21000 block of Point Lookout Road. 

Crews arrived to find a Dodge truck overturned with the driver trapped. Firefighters extricated the trapped injured driver and turned him over to EMS for care. EMS evaluated the 59-year-old male patient on the scene and requested a MEDEVAC. 

Driver Airlifted After Early Morning Rollover Crash On Point Lookout Road

Firefighters established a landing zone at the Chestnut Hills soccer field for Maryland State Police, Trooper 7. The patient was subsequently airlifted to UM Capital Region Medical Center for treatment. 

Police continue to investigate the crash.
