LEONARDTOWN, Md. — One person was injured Monday morning after a single-vehicle crash along Fairgrounds Road in Leonardtown.
Emergency crews were dispatched around 8:47 a.m. on March 16, 2026, to the 43000 block of Fairgrounds Road for a reported motor vehicle collision with injuries.
First responders arrived to find a single vehicle that had left the roadway and struck a tree. The driver was injured but was not trapped inside the vehicle.
Emergency medical personnel evaluated the patient at the scene before transporting them by ambulance to MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital for treatment.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
