
HUGHESVILLE, Md. — Emergency crews responded to a single-vehicle rollover crash on Monday, October 20, 2025, in Hughesville that left one man injured and transported to the trauma center with head injuries.
The crash was reported around 2:18 p.m. on Foster Place after a caller reported an overturned vehicle with no one seen around it. Emergency personnel arrived minutes later to find the car overturned and a male occupant suffering from head trauma.
EMS evaulted the 56-year-old man, who was bleeding from the head and required immediate medical attention. He was stabilized at the scene before being transported by ground to the UM Capital Region Medical Center for further treatment.
Crews cleared the scene around 2:47 p.m.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by police.
