PINEY POINT, Md. — Emergency crews responded at about 9:35 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025, to a single-vehicle crash on Piney Point Road near the Island Inn & Suites after a man reportedly suffered a medical emergency while driving.
First responders found the vehicle on its side in a ditch with the driver trapped but conscious and breathing. Firefighters quickly extricated him.
EMS evaluated the patient on the scene. No injuries have been reported.
Police are investigating the crash.
