UPDATE – Hollywood Shed Fire Leads To Firearms And Ammunition Seizure
HOLLYWOOD, Md. – On October 21, 2024, at approximately 6:00 a.m., fire and rescue personnel responded to a structure fire on Saint Johns Road in the area of Harris Lane in Hollywood, MD.
Crews arrived to find multiple sheds on fire with ammunition reportedly going off in a shed. The fire extended to two trailers; one was apparently converted to live in. Firefighters had the fire under control by 6:30 a.m., with extensive mop-up.
Police were requested to the scene for an aggressive homeowner. Animal control was requested to assist with dogs on the scene.
The Office of the State Fire Marshal was notified and requested to the scene for an investigation into the cause.
