The emergency shelter located at the Department of Community Services building will be closing as of 0930 today, October 30, 2012.
A non-emergency hotline, 301-609-3435, has been established for residents who have questions. This line should not be used in the event of an emergency. If you have an emergency, dial 9-1-1.
Severe weather information and emergency notices will be posted on the Charles County website (www.CharlesCountyMD.gov), on the county’s Facebook Page (www.facebook.com/CharlesCounty), and on the county’s government cable station, CCGTV, broadcast on Verizon channel 10 and Comcast channel 95.
