NORTH BEACH, Md. — This year’s Experience Calvert Festival takes place in North Beach this Saturday, Oct. 4, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. This free, family-friendly event promises to highlight the best of Calvert County in one of its most picturesque towns.
According to the Calvert County Chamber of Commerce’s Facebook, the festival “celebrates our community’s spirit, creativity, and connection to the Chesapeake Bay.” The event will feature local vendors from around the county for visitors to enjoy browsing and shopping, and plenty of entertainment, including live music and activities for kids, like touch-a-truck.
Food will also play a significant role in the event, with food trucks and stands ready to showcase local favorites. There will be beer and wine for sale for those who are 21 and older, and oysters will be available for purchase.
The event is hosted by North Beach and the Calvert Chamber of Commerce, and is presented by Cove Point LNG. Sponsorship opportunities are still available, and businesses are encouraged to get involved to support this community tradition. Sponsor packages can range from $250 to $1,000 or more. Interested sponsors can reach out to experiencecalvert@calvertchamber.org.
North Beach’s full events calendar is available online, and more information about the Experience Calvert Festival and the county’s other events can be found on their website.
