Indian Head, Md. – On Saturday, March 22, at approximately 10:36 p.m., emergency responders were dispatched to the 4000 block of Marvin Drive in Indian Head for reports of an animal bite incident.
First responders found a female victim with injuries to her face resulting from a dog bite. Medical personnel reported the bleeding was controlled upon arrival.
The dog responsible for the bite was secured outside in the backyard, according to initial dispatch communications.
The victim was transported by ambulance to Charles Regional Medical Center for further medical treatment. Her current condition remains undisclosed.
