Were you logged out of your Facebook or Instagram account today? If so, don’t fret, thousands of people around the world experienced the same issue.
“We’re aware people are having trouble accessing our services. We are working on this now,” said Andy Stone, a representative for Meta via X.
According to DownDetector, over 560,000 outages on Facebook were reported at the outage’s peak, with Instagram having over 70,000 outages.
As of right now, all Meta platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and Threads seem to be fully functional once again. However, there are some reports of users still having issues with their two-factor logins.
