February is “Adopt a Rabbit” month. Did you know the Tri-County Animal Shelter always has rabbits available for adoption, no matter what time of year it is?
Rabbits are intelligent, social animals who need affection, and they can become wonderful companion animals if given a chance to interact with their human families. They can be housebroken, can learn tricks, and some even love to sit on your lap. Rabbits are available at the shelter for $45, which includes spay or neuter and a physical examination.
