UPDATE – 9/10/24 – St. Inigoes Home Destroyed By Fire Remains Under Investigation, $525K In Damages

ST. INIGOES, Md. — A house fire broke out early Monday morning in St. Inigoes, prompting a large response from local fire and rescue personnel.

At approximately 5:27 a.m. on September 9, 2024, crews arrived on the scene in the 47000 block of Sunset Manor Lane, where they encountered a two-story home fully engulfed in flames.

Firefighters immediately began efforts to extinguish the blaze. No injuries were reported in the incident. As of 8:00 a.m., firefighters remain on scene for cleanup operations.

The Office of the State Fire Marshal has been notified and will investigate the cause of the fire.

The property was listed for sale on Zillow at $615,000 just over two weeks ago and was reportedly undergoing renovations at the time of the incident.

Authorities are continuing their investigation, and further updates are expected as more information becomes available.
