HOLLYWOOD, Md. — Firefighters are actively battling a large brush fire that broke out Monday, April 28, 2025, threatening a residence in the 24600 block of Clifton Lane.

Crews were dispatched at approximately 8:03 a.m. after a caller reported woods on fire and moving toward a home. When firefighters arrived, they found about two to three acres burning and began immediate suppression efforts.

Multiple units, including engines, brush trucks, tankers, and support teams, responded to the scene. Firefighters are working to contain the blaze and protect nearby structures.

No injuries have been reported at this time. The incident remains ongoing.
