LEONARDTOWN, Md. — The St. Mary’s County Arts Council and the SoMar Drummers are bringing back their popular First Friday Drum Circles, offering a free, interactive musical experience for the community.

Open to all ages and skill levels, the event encourages participants to bring their own percussion instruments or use those provided.

The next scheduled drum circle will take place on April 4 from 5 to 6 p.m. on the lawn adjacent to the St. Mary’s County Arts Council office, located at 22660 Washington St., Leonardtown, MD 20650. In case of rain or excessive heat, the event will move indoors.
