HOLLYWOOD, Md. — Southern Maryland families are invited to participate in a free, all-inclusive fishing camp this August, thanks to a partnership between Lucky and Blessed Fishing (LABF) and the Greenwell Foundation. The Fishing Camps for All Abilities program is open to participants of all ages and skill levels and will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 5, and Thursday, Aug. 7, 2025, at Greenwell State Park in St. Mary’s County.

Each camp runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Greenwell Foundation, located at 25420 Rosedale Manor Lane, Hollywood, MD 20636.

Thanks to generous support from community sponsors and partner organizations, this one-of-a-kind experience includes charter boat and pier fishing, watershed education, and free lunch provided by the Greenwell Foundation. Each camper will receive a fishing combo set, tackle box, LABF special edition T-shirt and hat, and fun take-home items like wristbands, stickers and temporary tattoos. Campers who land their first catch will also receive an official Intro to Fishing or First Fish certificate.

This year, LABF also welcomes Special Olympics Maryland – St. Mary’s County as a community partner, alongside sponsors including the Charlotte Hall Rotary Club, Lexington Park Rotary Club, Mike’s Wholesale Bait Service, Fishbites Bait Company and UPS of Gambrills.
