School bus accident

BRYANTOWN, Md. — A school bus carrying approximately 30 children was involved in a crash in Bryantown Tuesday afternoon, sending six people to the hospital and prompting a large emergency response.

The collision occurred March 24, 2026, at Edelen Church Road and Edelen Drive and was initially dispatched as a mass casualty incident.

Five children and the bus driver were transported to UM Charles Regional Medical Center for evaluation.

The remaining students were transferred to another school bus provided by the Board of Education.

Multiple EMS and fire units responded to the scene. A medical helicopter was placed on standby but was not used.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

  1. I am a tc martin student and the bus 140 was from tc martin. i was a car rider so. but i saw the acccident
