PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. – On September 1, 2024 at approximately 10:37 p.m., emergency personnel responded to a serious multi-vehicle accident on (rt 231) Hallowing Point Road in the area of Adelina Road.
Crews arrived on the scene to find a five-vehicle accident with one overturned, and another struck a guardrail. No entrapment was found upon arrival.
EMS evaluated two patients on the scene. One patient was transported to Calvert Health and the second patient was transported to UM Capital Region Medical Center with severe injuries.
Rt 231 was shut down for about two hours while crews cleared the scene.
Police continue to investigate the collision.
