ST. MARY’S COUNTY, Md. – The Commissioners of St. Mary’s County have ordered the Maryland State and St. Mary’s County flags to be flown at half-staff in St. Mary’s County, in remembrance of Shelby P. Guazzo, who passed away on November 24, 2025.
Guazzo served as a Commissioner of St. Mary’s County from 1998–2002. The State of Maryland and St. Mary’s County flags will remain lowered in St. Mary’s County until sunset on the day of her interment, December 5, 2025, in honor of her service to the people of St. Mary’s County.
