EVENING…
The Flood Watch continues for
* Portions of Maryland, The District of Columbia, and Virginia,
ย including the following areas, in Maryland, Anne Arundel,
ย Calvert, Central and Southeast Howard, Central and Southeast
ย Montgomery, Charles, Prince Georges, Southeast Harford,
ย Southern Baltimore, and St. Marys. The District of Columbia.
ย In Virginia, Arlington/Falls Church/Alexandria, Fairfax, King
ย George, Prince William/Manassas/Manassas Park, Spotsylvania,
ย and Stafford.
* From noon EST today through this evening
* A period of moderately heavy rain is expected this afternoon and
ย evening after precipitation becomes all rain. One and a half to
ย two inches of rain is expected with isolated higher amounts
ย possible. This may lead to flooding of area creeks and streams
ย as well as in urban and poor drainage areas.
