Leonardtown, MD— Folks were going to the gas pumps to fill up in record numbers Friday, Jan. 22 at the Dash Inn at Leonardtown. Many peopleย were out at the pumps filling their cars and extra gas tanks to prepare for this potentially record snow event.ย
“I am not worried about it, I am just getting gas and diesel for the tractors to clear my road at home,” said one man who lives in Leonardtown.ย
TheBayNet talked to the manager at the Dash Inn who advised us that people have been coming out in record numbers to fill up their cars.ย
Maqbolย Amhad, who is the manager of the Dash Inn said, “we see a significant spike in the number of people coming out to get gas. I know it will be a mess, but we are glad we are open for the public twenty-four hours to help out the community.
The Dash Inn in Leonardtown is one of the only gas station that TheBayNet was able to find that promised to stay open during this snow storm.ย
“We have enough gas to get through this storm to help the community out,” said Ahmad.ย
