On Aug. 28, St. Mary’s Deputy James Maguire responded to a business in the Leonardtown area for a reported Violation of a Protective Order.
Investigation revealed that an order was issued by the District Court for Jeffery Allen Wathen, 23 of Mechanicsville, to have no contact with his Ex-girlfriend.
Wathen violated the court order by contacting the girlfriend and threatening to take her life, police say.
Deputies searched for Wathen, locating him on the morning of Aug. 31.
Deputy Maguire arrested Wathen and charged him with Violation of a Protective Order. More charges may follow.
On Aug. 27, St. Mary’s deputies responded to the area of Rogers Drive in Lexington Park for a report of a domestic disturbance in the street.
Upon their arrival deputies found Kevin Dondrey Dixon, 38 of Leonardtown, yelling and using profanity directed towards a former girlfriend who lives in the area.
Further investigation revealed Dixon to be intoxicated and uncooperative.
After several requests by the deputies to stop yelling, Dixon was arrested by Deputy Kevin Meyer and charged with Disorderly Conduct and Disturbing the Peace.
