CHARLOTTE HALL, Md. – Gardiner Produce has served St. Mary’s County with fresh fruits and vegetables for decades. Now, the beloved produce stand has announced that they will be closing their business on Saturday, March 30, 2024.
“We did not come to this decision easily, but with the uncertainty of a new location, we thought it would be in our best interests,” Gardiner Produce stated via a Facebook post making the announcement.
Gardiner Produce was a staple in the iconic Charlotte Hall Farmers Market. Unfortunately, the market will be torn down soon to make room for a new development. Gardiner is just one of the multiple businesses that have been forced to either relocate or close.
“We would like to thank all of our patrons over the years for your continued support as it wouldn’t have been possible without all of you. We have met some amazing people and made friendships that will last a lifetime. Thank you all so much again, and we hope to see you all again in the future,” said Gardiner Produce.
