Solomons, MD— Fall in love with the tastes of the historic Solomons Town Center as restaurants showcase selected food and beverages during the one-day food festival, The Harvest Taste of Solomons, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 22. The event is one of the yearly signature events designed and sponsored by the Solomons Business Association, with proceeds to benefit the associationโ€™s annual July 4th fireworks display.

The Taste of Solomons provides a fun and affordable way to sample all the flavors of this remarkable waterfront town, according to Taste of Solomons Chair, Chris Donaldson.

Participating businesses include Anglerโ€™s Seafood Bar and Grill, Boomerangโ€™s Original Ribs and Seafood, Captain Smithโ€™s Seafood Market, Charles Street Brasserie, EZ Thai Too, Grill Sargeant Barbecue, Island Hideaway, Kingfisherโ€™s Seafood Bar and Grill, The Lighthouse Restaurant and Dock Bar, The Lotus Kitchen and Kimโ€™s Key Lime Pies, The Pier, Ruddy Duck, Stoneyโ€™s Striped Rock and Tiki Bar.

Tickets are $4 each and may be purchased at any of the participating businesses. Tickets are also available at the McNelis Group. Each ticket can be exchanged for a sample of selected food or beverages.ย  Donaldson said that many restaurants are also participating in a Gift Certificate Prize program, with some of the tickets at each location designated as prize winners. The lucky purchaser will be awarded a gift certificate for future use at the respective restaurant.
