Governor Hogan Welcomes Governor-Elect Wes Moore to Government House

ANNAPOLIS, Md.—Governor Larry Hogan and First Lady Yumi Hogan today welcomed Governor-Elect Wes Moore, Mrs. Dawn Moore, and their children to Government House in Annapolis.

“The First Lady and I were delighted to welcome the Moore family to historic Government House this afternoon and show them around what will soon be their new home,” said Governor Hogan. “The First Lady and I have been so grateful to serve as temporary residents of Government House, and we will cherish the memories our family has made here over the last eight years.”

Government House has served as the home of Maryland’s governors since 1870, and is administered by the Government House Trust, which was established by the General Assembly to preserve the public rooms in the residence.

    1. Guess a good politician can’t be in the middle these days. The politicians have to be extreme left or right huh? That’s a good recipe for getting nothing done.

    2. My name explains how we feel about your comment. Move to the southern red states and see how well that goes for you. Taxes are already high and with schools and crime right now he has a lot of work but I am hopeful it will get better over time.

  1. Leaders acting leaders….not out scamming their supporters or trying to overthrow the govt…how refreshing!

  2. And so, Maryland goes down another notch by electing another liberal democrat governor. All of the immorality of the D party is in this guy, so we’ll be under the “anything goes” banner for the next 4 years.
Watch for the wrath of God on Maryland…

    1. So, you’re excited to see another democrat raise taxes, favor heinous evil and push for more control of your life through a loss of more of our rights? Please move back to California, OK?
