At 6:13 p.m. Aug. 31, Charles County Sheriff’s officers responded to a residence in the 16700 block of Belmont Court in Hughesville for the report of a burglary.
Investigation revealed suspect(s) kicked in the back door of the residence, stole two handguns, jewelry, CDs and a pressure washer.
A K9 unit also responded and a conducted a track but the suspect(s) were not located.
