A heavy snow warning remains in effect for St. Maryโs and surrounding counties from 6 p.m. Saturday to 6 a.m. Sunday.
As of 10:20 a.m., the National Weather Service reports the light rain falling now will change over to all snow during the afternoon hours and become heavy at times this evening. The storm may also be accompanied by thunder.
There is 6 to 10 inches of snow possible tonight and 1 to 3 new inches on Sunday before the storm passes.

This Afternoon: Periods of rain. High near 40. East wind between 6 and 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
