Frank W. Johnson III

Prince Frederick, MD— On Jan.29, Maryland State Policeย Trooper First Class T. Newcomer stopped a vehicle on Rt. 4 south of Auto Drive in Prince Frederick for traffic violations.

A glass smoking device with white powdery substance was in plain view. A probable cause search was conducted. The driver, Frank W. Johnson III, 40 of Upper Marlboro, was placed under arrest for possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine and heroin.

According to charging documents, “I (Newcomer) observed a white glass smoking device with trace amounts of a white powdery substance of suspected crack cocaine. Frank Johnson uttered, “That’s mine, I’m homeless, so I always keep a stem on me.”ย 

The front passenger, Dante M. Johnson, 26 of Upper Marlboro, was placed under arrest for an open warrant through the Maryland State Police Prince Frederick, and he was charged with possession with intent to distribute heroin. The rear seat passenger, Vanessa C. Brooks-Williams, 29 of Capitol Heights, was found to be in possession of crack cocaine and heroin in individually packaged bags for intent to distribute and was placed under arrest.

Johnson stated, “Just take me to jail and charge me with whatever,” according to charging documents. Brooks-Williams had a smilingย message, “I’m not answering any of your (Newcomer) dumb ass questions take me to jail,” according to charging documents.

ย All three suspects were incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center. Frank W. Johnson was placed under arrest for his outstanding warrant.ย 

Frank W. Johnson has a scheduled court date for May.16 at the Calvert County District Court.ย Brooks-Williams and Dante M. Johnson are still waiting to have a court date scheduled.ย
