CALIFORNIA, Md. – Hide Tide Games and Bard’s Bistro have announced their last normal day of operation will be Saturday, March 2, 2024.
Next week, the store will be closed on Monday and Tuesday to prepare for liquidation. March 6-9 will give consumers one last chance to purchase any fixtures and retail products from the store.
Hide Tide Games, located at 22599 MacArthur Blvd, California, MD, has been a gathering place for gamers since 2013. The store specializes in Dungeons & Dragons, Pokemon, Magic: The Gathering, and more. Bard’s Bistro is a Dungeons & Dragon’s themed restaurant that accompanies the store next door.
“Thank you for teaching my boys to play Pokemon and D&D. Thank you for the best Tabletop Days and for letting us come in and teach games. Thank you for getting us through the pandemic with amazing games to purchase while we were housebound. And mostly, thank you for opening your store up to St Mary’s Board Gamers and all of the wonderful games and friends we have experienced because of this shop. I hope that there are beautiful things in your future. You deserve all the best,” said one customer under their social media post announcing the closure.
“Thank you all so much for supporting Bard’s Bistro & High Tide Games over the past 11 years,” said High Tide Games. “May all your adventures be as impactful as this endeavor has been for me and for our community.”
