CALIFORNIA, Md. – The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information about a hit-and-run motor vehicle collision that occurred Tuesday, May 13, 2025, on Patuxent Beach Road in the area of Patuxent Boulevard in California.
At around 8:20 a.m., the truck shown in these pictures was involved in a near head-on collision with another vehicle. The driver of the truck fled the scene, continuing southbound on Patuxent Beach Road.
The Sheriff’s Office urges anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has information about the vehicle or its driver to contact Deputy First Class Travis Wimberly at Travis.Wimberly@stmaryscountymd.gov or by phone at 301-475-4200, ext. 8086, referencing case number 2025-26895.
