PASADENA, Md. — Anne Arundel County police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the operator of a UTV involved in a hit-and-run with a patrol vehicle early Sunday, Sept. 14, 2025.

Police said officers responded around 12:30 a.m. to reports of UTVs circling Fort Smallwood Elementary School on Poplar Ridge Road. When officers arrived, the riders fled the parking lot.

One UTV then collided with a police cruiser near Belhaven Avenue and Poplar Ridge Road before continuing south without stopping, authorities said. The cruiser had minor damage, and the officer was not hurt.

Investigators said anyone with information is urged to call the Eastern District station at 410-222-6145.
