HOLLYWOOD, Md. — The Hollywood Volunteer Fire Department is bringing the fun back to town with its highly anticipated annual carnival, set to light up the summer nights July 10–13 and July 17–20 from 7 to 10 p.m.
Each evening promises a lively mix of classic carnival rides, games of chance, and plenty of food vendors offering everything from savory favorites to sweet treats. With something for everyone, the event continues to draw families, neighbors, and visitors from across the region.
This year’s featured raffles add extra excitement. Attendees can enter to win a Blackstone griddle set — perfect for outdoor cooking — or take their shot at unlocking a treasure chest packed with $6,000 worth of prizes.
Children 12 and under will also have a chance to ride home in style: six bicycles will be given away every night at no cost, just one of many ways the department gives back to the community it serves.
The annual carnival isn’t just about entertainment — it’s also a vital fundraiser for the volunteer fire department, supporting equipment, training, and emergency response efforts throughout the year.
For a chance to win big, ride fast, and enjoy a summer tradition rooted in community spirit, the Hollywood VFD carnival is the place to be.
