Hollywood Annual Christmas Tree Lighting

HOLLYWOOD, Md. — It’s that time of year again! Old St. Nick will be arriving at the Hollywood Volunteer Fire Department for the annual Community Christmas Tree Lighting on Saturday, Nov. 29, 2025.

The free, family-friendly celebration will be held indoors at the department’s social hall, with doors opening at 5 p.m. Guests can enjoy fire truck rides from 5 to 5:45 p.m., make magical reindeer dust, write letters to Santa, and take home a festive goodie bag.

Light refreshments will be available, and Santa himself will be ready for photos as families gather to welcome the holiday season.

Organizers say the indoor setup ensures the fun continues no matter the weather, making it a perfect way to kick off the Christmas spirit in Hollywood.
