Arrest in southern Maryland

PASADENA, Md. — Two juveniles were arrested early Monday, July 28, 2025, in connection with a pair of attempted home burglaries in a Pasadena neighborhood, according to Anne Arundel County Police.

Officers responded around 3:15 a.m. to the 7900 block of Sutherland Court, where a homeowner reported that her front door had been kicked in, damaging the frame. While searching the area, police located two male juveniles matching the suspect description.

Shortly afterward, a second resident in the 3500 block of Old Crown Drive reported an attempted break-in, stating that two males had tried to force entry by kicking in their door before fleeing the scene. Police confirmed the same suspects were involved in both incidents.

A 14-year-old and a 13-year-old, both from Pasadena, were taken into custody and charged. Their names have not been released due to their ages.

No injuries were reported. Police said the investigation is ongoing.

  1. Why do they release the names/pics of young-teen girls missing but not of criminals? Seems like it does way more damage to the young girls since predators now know their names, faces, towns and that they’re persuadable to sneak out.

  2. It sure seems that juvenile crime has radically increased since the law changed less that a year ago. I hope the victims don’t blame the wonderful Demoncrats that enacted the law.
