
GREAT MILLS, Md. – Three Great Mills residents have been displaced from their home after a house fire caused an estimated $100,000 worth of damage during the early hours of Wednesday, April 25.
Around 2:00 a.m., units from the Bay District VFD responded to the 21100 block of Ace Lane for the report of a house fire. Thirty firefighters arrived on scene and worked quickly to douse the flames. In 10 minutes, crews had the scene under control.ย
Of the three adults displaced from the fire, one man was transported to a medical facility and treated for injuries.
Reports say the fire began in the bedroom but the cause is under currently investigation. The family is being assisted by the American Red Cross.ย
